Service summary

A non-certification assessment of selected quality management practices against applicable API Spec Q1 or Q2 requirements. The review focuses on the organisation’s activities, customer obligations and existing operational controls.

The service provides evidence for supplier evaluation or management oversight. It does not issue API registration, an API Monogram licence or permission to use API marks, and must not be marketed as API-issued certification.

Methodology

The applicable specification and edition are agreed before selected operational processes and records are assessed by appropriately competent personnel.

• Select relevant manufacturing or service delivery processes.
• Observe controls and interview responsible operational personnel.
• Trace planning, execution, verification and change-management evidence.
• Evaluate deviations and corrective action implementation.
• Report requirement-linked findings without API registration or licensing claims.
