Programme Summary

Help nonelectrical staff recognise electrical danger and use equipment within safe limits. Participants identify damaged supplies, unsuitable conditions and situations requiring competent electrical assistance. Everyday workplace scenarios reinforce visual checks, reporting, exclusion and emergency communication, with clear boundaries that prevent awareness training from being mistaken for permission to test, isolate, repair or work on electrical installations.

02

Training Objectives

1 Recognise common electrical hazards and warning signs; 2 Use equipment within safe operating boundaries; 3 Identify damage and unsuitable environmental conditions; 4 Report defects and obtain competent assistance; 5 Respond safely without attempting unauthorised intervention.

03

Learning Outcomes

1 Identify electrical hazards in workplace examples; 2 Complete a basic user visual check; 3 Explain safe equipment withdrawal and defect reporting; 4 Choose safe actions around electrical incidents; 5 State tasks reserved for authorised electrical personnel.
