Programme Summary
Reduce the risk of people being struck, trapped or injured by workplace vehicles. Participants review site layouts, vehicle movements and pedestrian activities to identify where separation, visibility and operating controls are weak. Practical scenarios develop clear route, loading and reversing precautions, helping supervisors coordinate safer movements without treating general awareness training as driver authorisation or vehicle operating competence.
Training Objectives
1 Recognise vehicle pedestrian and loading hazards; 2 Prioritise separation and safe site design; 3 Identify visibility reversing and access weaknesses; 4 Strengthen communication and operating rule awareness; 5 Plan practical transport safety improvements.
Learning Outcomes
1 Identify transport conflict points on a layout; 2 Propose safer pedestrian and vehicle routes; 3 Define loading and reversing control requirements; 4 Explain safe communication and reporting actions; 5 Prepare a focused site transport improvement list.
Target Audience
Warehouse Supervisors; Transport Coordinators; Facilities Supervisors; Safety Officers; Yard Supervisors.
Target Industries
Warehousing; Distribution Centres; Manufacturing; Construction; Ports and Terminals; Retail Logistics.
Course Contents

- Module 2 Site Design and Separation: Defined routes crossings barriers and access; Visibility lighting surfaces and speed management; Avoiding unnecessary reversing and shared areas.
- Module 3 Safe Operating Arrangements: Driver competence and vehicle suitability; Loading zones stability and exclusion controls; Visitors contractors and delivery communication.
- Module 4 Supervision and Reporting: Clear rules signs and local briefings; Preuse concerns and damaged infrastructure reporting; Unsafe conditions and stop movement decisions.
- Module 5 Transport Layout Workshop: Identifying conflict points and weak controls; Designing practical separation improvements; Presenting operational checks and action priorities.
Assessment
- 20 single best answer questions, including applied scenarios; one mark per question.
- 30 minute invigilated digital examination with identity verification. Approved accessibility adjustments preserve the assessed competence.
- Supplied reference pack and calculator permitted; external internet and AI prohibited.
- Individual applied assessment (20 minutes): Review a site layout, identify vehicle pedestrian conflicts and prepare a practical route and operating control improvement proposal.
- Assessment criteria: Accurate conflict and hazard recognition; Effective separation and control priorities; Clear operational checks and reporting.
- Pass each component separately: 15/20 written marks (75%) and at least 70% on the applied task.
- All mandatory criteria must pass: Keep people outside uncontrolled vehicle movements.
- Individual results and feedback are provided. One reassessment may follow coaching under the published enrolment terms.
Certification
- Successful learners receive a TQCSI Arabia digital Certificate of Successful Completion.
- The certificate records the learner name, exact programme title, teaching hours, completion date and unique verification reference.
- Verified identity, full attendance and separate written and applied passes are required; all mandatory critical criteria must be met.
- Proposed issue target: within 30 calendar days of approved results and settlement of applicable fees.
- Records workplace transport safety awareness; it does not qualify or authorise drivers, vehicle operators or traffic management designers.
- Attendance confirmation may record completed hours for unsuccessful learners; it does not certify successful completion.
