Programme Summary

Prepare production approval evidence that demonstrates understanding of customer requirements and the capability of the intended manufacturing process. Participants assemble and review a structured submission, checking consistency across drawings, process flow, risk analysis, control plans and test results. Practical cases focus on missing evidence, changes and approval conditions so teams can manage submissions with clear accountability and technical discipline.

02

Training Objectives

1 Clarify production approval purpose and scope; 2 Identify applicable customer submission requirements; 3 Connect approval evidence across quality planning documents; 4 Evaluate technical completeness and internal consistency; 5 Manage changes and approval status responsibly.

03

Learning Outcomes

1 Prepare a customer specific submission checklist; 2 Review consistency across supporting quality records; 3 Identify gaps in dimensional and test evidence; 4 Assess change related resubmission needs; 5 Present a justified submission readiness recommendation.

04

Target Audience

Quality Engineers; Supplier Quality Engineers; Product Approval Coordinators; Manufacturing Engineers; Quality Managers.

05

Target Industries

Automotive Components; Automotive Electronics; Commercial Vehicle Components; Precision Machining; Industrial Equipment Suppliers.

Course Contents

  • Module 1 Production Approval Context: Purpose responsibilities and customer requirements; Submission levels and applicability decisions; Approval status and production release boundaries.
  • Module 2 Design and Change Records: Current drawings specifications and approvals; Engineering change and concession evidence; Traceability of part and revision identifiers.
  • Module 3 Process Planning Evidence: Process flow and manufacturing scope; Failure analysis and control plan consistency; Special characteristics and process controls.
  • Module 4 Measurement and Test Evidence: Measurement system analysis and calibration; Dimensional material and performance results; Laboratory competence and traceable reports.
  • Module 5 Process Performance Evidence: Representative production trial conditions; Initial studies and statistical limitations; Capacity and operating condition evidence.
  • Module 6 Submission Assembly: Required records samples and declarations; Cross checks for consistency and completeness; Authorised review and customer communication.
  • Module 7 Changes and Resubmission: Customer notification and approval triggers; Supplier process location and tooling changes; Controlled interim conditions and follow up.
  • Module 8 Submission Review Workshop: Reviewing a fictional approval evidence pack; Identifying gaps and inconsistent information; Preparing a readiness and correction plan.
07

Assessment

  • 40 single best answer questions, including applied scenarios; one mark per question.
  • 60 minute invigilated digital examination with identity verification. Approved accessibility adjustments preserve the assessed competence.
  • Supplied reference pack and calculator permitted; external internet and AI prohibited.
  • Individual applied assessment (30 minutes): Review a fictional production approval pack, identify missing or inconsistent evidence and prepare a customer specific readiness checklist and correction plan.
  • Assessment criteria: Accurate requirement and evidence selection; Cross document consistency checking; Responsible approval and change judgement.
  • Pass each component separately: 30/40 written marks (75%) and at least 70% on the applied task.
  • Individual results and feedback are provided. One reassessment may follow coaching under the published enrolment terms.
08

Certification

  • Successful learners receive a TQCSI Arabia digital Certificate of Successful Completion.
  • The certificate records the learner name, exact programme title, teaching hours, completion date and unique verification reference.
  • Verified identity, full attendance and separate written and applied passes are required; all mandatory critical criteria must be met.
  • Proposed issue target: within 30 calendar days of approved results and settlement of applicable fees.
  • Records production approval preparation skills; actual acceptance and production authorisation remain with the customer and responsible manufacturer.
  • Attendance confirmation may record completed hours for unsuccessful learners; it does not certify successful completion.
